A very professional company from the initial enquiry through to final construction, we had a conservatory and a porch built through some of the hottest weeks of the year, and as for the chap who installs the foundations I have never seen anyone (with my 40 years in the building trade) work so hard. Oakham Home Improvements are simply a delight to work with, from design through to implementation, and after sales care.We were looking to have a full en-suite replacement, a re-furb of the main bathroom and a new downstairs cloakroom, and we first contacted Simon on recommendation from a number of different people who all said, 'He's not the cheapest, but you'll absolutely get the best job', and they were right. In fact such was our confidence in Simon's professionalism we didn't even contemplate looking elsewhere.His team are outstanding, as is the attention to detail. Planning is meticulous, and if we were told 'plasterer with you for 8am tomorrow' - that's what happened. Everyone was on time, and courteous, and are they obviously a very happy team working together, to the highest of standards. Not surprising that they have all worked for Simon for a long time. Simon himself is an excellent project manager and makes you feel as though yours is the most important job, he wants you to be happy. If we could have given 6 stars we would have, because they deserve it.
They did an excellent job fitting our new bathroom. Very good attention to detail. We are planning on using them to fit our new kitchen and build our extension too.
Great company - friendly, reliable and efficient. They are currently working on putting together a new bathroom for us and we have been impressed by their attention to detail. In the past they have also added an extension to our house and all went extremely well.Being local they need to be at the top of their game, as reputations are hard to earn and easy to lose - I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.
