Bought my E-bike last week on the shortest, wettest and coldest day of the year! Great help and guidance from Carl. After several trials a selection was made. By this time it was dark and Carl and colleagues struggled in freezing rain to load bike onto my car rack, whilst I was advised to stay warm and dry in the car! Because of an apparent problem with the rack Carl decided that the bike would instead be shipped to me. It arrived yesterday - requiring only the minimum of assembly - all is well. Thank you Carl! Thank you Rutland Cycles. Totally excellent service.
Brought my grandson in for his first mountain bike, great service from Philip have ordered his bike from Rutland cycle's a very happy little boy.
Overall it was a okay experience. The bikes were good and reserving the bikes online was easy. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However one member of staff who I believe may be the manager was very rude and sharp with his staff. I witness him tell a member of staff to wrap up a phone call with a customer and he also told my boyfriend to move out of the way and shouted at the member of staff who was sorting out bikes out. We were made to feel like a inconvenience and it was a uncomfortable experience. Which is a shame because everything else was really good. It was not necessary to behave like that at all.
Staff were really helpful yesterday, had a cap fall off to remove my front tyre and the service area replaced it. Wendi helped me with a side fitting water bottle holder as I hadn't been able to get one to fit, really helpful and friendly staff, was very pleased I took the time to go in
Looking for a new bike fort my wife and went to Rutland because of the size of store which offers so much choice. All the staff were friendly and we spent some time with Phillip who took the time to go through the options with my wife and even brought out examples from their hire fleet so she could ride around the car park and try them. The level of service at this store is exceptional. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Well Done guys, Excellent team.
