Rutland Cycling needs more people like CHRIS REID!We have bought 2 bikes from Chris in the last 12 months. The first was a Specialized Ariel. Having had the wrong bike in the past, my wife made a casual visit to Whitwell, where Chris willingly and without sales pressure made adjustments to the demo Ariel, and gave her a lot of excellent advice. As a result, we bought the bike and it's been an absolute success.Encouraged by Rutland's pricing on Roubaix, and with 5 years experience of the SL4, I visited Chris this week to have a look at the bikes on offer. Again, Chris was helpful, friendly and professional in understanding my expectations from the bike and the supplier - and I ended up with a beautiful Roubaix Comp, which is a stunningly good endurance machine. Turned heads at the club ride last Sunday!
I dealt with 3 or 4 member of staff, all of who were fantastic. Steve looked after me a treat, great chap to deal with.
The series of maintenance classes were excellent. Very well run and informative. Thoroughly enjoyed them and have greatly increased my technical abilities.
Bought an Ebike delivered without charger. called in was sent another charger and taking the day off to make sure I was in for the delivery I was overjoyed to discover I had been sent the wrong one :( really fed up had taken time of work and arranged my weekend around this. lets hope the next charger I get sent is correct
We had an amazing few hours cycling around Rutland. We were able to rent bicycles that suited us by friendly staff. I had broken my leg seven months earlier and they allowed me to try out an electric bicycle to see if I would be able to handle cycling. I was able to and enjoyed it very much. This was a blessing for both my husband and I as we had missed being able to cycle. We will be doing more in the the future. Thank you for such a positive experience.
