A quaint corner of oakham that most probably would dismiss. If you are bored and live in the area, take your self down to the Rutland museum. It free to enter, has a great gift shop, interesting for the kids and the grownups. It also has a small cafe aswell.
So much to see in this museum. Plenty to keep you interested for a few hours - and it is free! There are changing exhibitions throughout the year so great for repeat visits. The kids trails and holiday crafts are very popular! Well worth a visit
Far better than I expected! They've got a full gallows here! I think the sign said it was the last full one in the UK. Very sombre looking at it. Kiddo loved it
