Really good day out when it's warm, there's a great bike Ride around the outside. There's shops and pubs along the way, there's loads of Places to hire bikes and loads of parking.
Great bird watching, plenty of walks and hides. Friendly and helpful volunteers.
A relaxing area to watch nature. there is a car park and the added bonus of public toilets.
There are some good walks and hides. Some hides are maybe 20 minutes walk or so apart so be prepared for a walk and bring good optics as they are not particularly close to the waters edge. Entry /parking fee can be quite pricey if you're not staying long as it's priced per person (I think about 7 each)
Superb views. Quiet and serene. Perfect for walking and cycling with toilets and cafes on route. Easy gradient for most people and saw several people using electric wheelchairs to go around. Plenty of places to have a picnic or just sit and drink in the view. Loads of families with all ages of children enjoying playing and cycling. Even had a temporary water park. Superb pub "Horse and Jockey " to finish at for food and drinks.
