Lovely environment, very helpful and friendly staff. On our brief stop, we were very impressed with the efficient, professional management. We were able to take the dog into the bar area. We enjoyed our delicious fish finger sandwiches!

A fantastic restaurant with amazing food and 1st class service. Everyone was so warm and welcoming from start to finish. A very contemporary design to the restaurant was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Definitely more than just a pub food kind of place. Feel free to dress up as you won't be out of place. I had the black pudding to start followed by a perfectly cooked steak. Both were delicious. If I had to give a negative it would be that we requested a corner cable table at time of booking as was told not a problem. Unfortunately this was missed. Wasn't an issue in the end as the restaurant had a very lovely quiet atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening and I'm sure we'll be back soon. Rob
This is an excellent pub and restaurant. My favourite in Rutland with the best chef in town! The food is always excellent and the beer fresh. Large car park at the rear so plenty of space or pop in after a cycle. Friendly faces all round. Had the luxury of booking a room to and everything was perfect, clean and tidy with a perfect sleep.
