Perfect Sunday lunch! Filling and good value mains. Starters seemed slightly expensive for what you got but didn't bother me too much as it was tasty
Lovely place. Warm and cosy with friendly staff. Food was outstanding and the coffee was even better.
Lovely Village pub, friendly helpful staff food was excellent one problem was do you do anything other than a roast on a Sunday as i'm not a great lover of roast dinners and when i go out to dinner i usually choose something i don't cook at home. We went in a group and was only offered the Sunday roast menu Pudding was lovely had Bakewell tart was the best i have had for a while
Immediately knew the place was good by the number of parked vehicles. Situated in a lovely village full of character and old charm.Everything about it was good!
I really enjoyed our meal. Couldn't fault it home made bread. And lamb for main course with freshly cooked veg and potatoes...not chips. Lovely red wine the Shiraz and beer was good to says hubby. The staff were helpful and friendly. They also found us a table and we hadn't booked on a Friday night. Would recommend.
