Very rarely can I say that a pub has ticked all the boxes, plus a few extra, but this is one of those pubs. Central location in a wonderful town, next to the train station, tasty food with a varied menu, stunning interior, plus their own beer and cider, of which there is a choice, is excellent.
My husband fell in love with the Grainstore Cider when we were visiting Oakham over Christmas. So much so that we decided to serve it at our wedding. We just wanted to say a massive thank you to Wayne, Ben, and the guys for helping us organize delivery for our special day. Our guests from the UK and US all enjoyed the Cider. Thanks again! Fantastic pints, and the food is equally good if not better. I travel 75 miles to come here every now and again!
