Stayed in 'The Sanctuary' Spa lodge, which was terrible. The whole accommodation was not clean, broken fridge freezer, very greasy cooker, etc. We lifted the lid off the Jacuzzi outside and immediately realised it was not fit to use. We paid for three nights but left after two. Hoseasons state that this is one of their ' Carefully Selected Properties'. It was dreadful.
Big let down . We stayed in the mirage lodge more like a caravan. Not very clean and very shappy needs a update. We booked it for the hot tub it didn't work was very old . Staff very friendly but we will not be returning. Stayed in four other horizons lodges this year this one one not up to usual standard at all .
This place was nice and clean. We stayed in an apartment which was a bit small it you have more than 4 people. Hot tub was a nice feature however it was a shame you had to walk through the lawn, especially not pleasant when wet. There were no other facilities at the resort hence giving it a 3 star rating. Other than that it was a nice weekend break.
I would like to thank the team for an amazing weekend. We staid in the retreat lodge and it was spotlessly clean and the hot was great.The location of the park was fab and couldnt fit in all the great activities so cant wait for my next stay.Rutland is a real gem
We stayed in the Fishermans Lodge (more like a Caravan!)The hot tub was locate round the back of the lodge (caravan) so was no access without walking all the way around the caravan. There was nothing much around to do, however if the hot tub was more accessible this would have been so much better.Felt like it was a waste of money.
